For today's adventure we decided to go ride the Metro system around Kiev. Our whole crew of six cost $1.25 to get on the Metro Subway (one of the best subway systems in the world. The one subway runs over 300ft under ground in a nuclear bomb shelter intended for use during WW2. The system is super efficient and transports around 1.4 million people a day. A ticket to ride the subway is 25 cents and lasts until you leave the subway area. So you can get off the subway at these different stops but if you stay in the station you may get on again and continue your trip without paying new fare. In this pic you see car doors open. These doors are seldom open for more then 10 seconds.
