In Ukraine we have seen this quite a bit; they window companies make doors exactly the same way as they make windows. Its actually a very good idea. The door s very durable, it has a fantastic seal, good hinges and latches. It opens just like a window; swings open fully or you can turn handle upwards and door simply swings open 4 inches on top.
